About the role:
We're on the lookout for a Marketing Manager for a fixed-term contract (maternity leave cover) with a talent for writing compelling copy and managing digital marketing campaigns. This role involves overseeing marketing communications, driving digital marketing efforts, managing marketing operations and processes, and creating effective lead workflows tailored to the buyer's journey for schools across our channels. Working collaboratively across internal and external teams, the Marketing Manager will execute strategic marketing plans and report on performance and outcomes.
How you will make an impact: Deliver marketing and communication initiatives across various channels, including web, email, social, and print collateral.Craft and communicate compelling "stories/messages", ensuring messaging aligns with strategic goals and brand guidelines.Combine market insights, product knowledge, audience characteristics, and marketing objectives to write persuasive promotional content that drives sales of Jacaranda products.Serve as the team's lead EDM technologist, with experience in Adobe Campaign a plus.Own the marketing website, ensuring it's updated with relevant, customer-focused content.Collaborate with the National Marketing Manager to design and deliver effective lead-generation campaigns and manage the lead flow for all marketing.What we are looking for: 3–5 years of marketing experience, with a strong focus on copywriting (please provide any links to portfolios or copywriting examples if available).Proven project management expertise working with cross-functional teams.Experience in planning and executing marketing campaigns, as well as analysing large amounts of data to determine the campaign's success.Proficiency with Excel, Wordpress, Adobe Photoshop/InDesign, HTML, Salesforce, and EDM platforms (we currently use Adobe Campaign for EDMs).Experience in the Educational Publishing and/or Education industries would be an asset.
