Visit sane.org to learn more about our work.Role overviewBased in the Melbourne office and reporting to the Manager - Customer Experience and Engagement, the Marketing Lead is responsible for increasing SANE's brand profile, maximising market presence, and driving engagement in SANE's digital mental health services and initiatives.Drawing on highly developed leadership, digital marketing, traditional marketing and communications skills, this role leads the development of SANE's annual marketing strategies, brand activity calendar, and oversees our social media and digital advertising activities.You'll design and implement compelling campaigns that elevate our brand, build strong connections with key audiences, and meet organisational and program-related KPIs.Key audiences include people with complex mental health issues and their family, friends, and carers, as well as mental health providers and professionals.You will also pro-actively monitor and optimise campaign performance and provide regular marketing performance reports to key stakeholders.This role also provides project and event support to other teams across the organisation.Solid communication skills and a collaborative working style are essential for success in this role. Key relationships will be developed with various stakeholders across SANE, including other members of the fundraising and communications team, external agencies, and cross-functional teams.Direct reports include the Social Media Coordinator and Graphic Designer within a small but highly skilled and driven marketing team.Essential skills and experience:A tertiary qualification in marketing and four or more years of experience of proven achievement working in a marketing role.Innovative approach to digital marketing, with a strong interest in trends, tactics and technologies.Experience in audience research, competitor analysis, and campaign management.Proficiency in Google Analytics, CMS (Joomla, WordPress or similar), advertising campaign structures across multiple platforms, social media platforms, email marketing and CRM tools (preferably Salesforce).Strong writing and communication skills, able to create clear, concise content across various channels.Experience managing agencies and suppliers (e.g., digital, print, video).Highly desirable:Experience in the mental health sector or working with not-for-profit organisations.Why work with us?SANE is a values-led organisation that offers workplace flexibility, a supportive and friendly team, and the opportunity to make a positive impact on Australians living with a complex mental health illness and their families, friends and carers.Staff at SANE benefit from generous not-for-profit salary packaging options, an employee assistance program and additional days of paid Wellbeing Leave (pro rata) per year after 1 year of service.As part of the highly skilled and collaborative fundraising and communications team, you'll enjoy a hybrid working model, with two days in the office and three days working from home across the week.How to applyTo apply, please complete the following screening questions and upload your resume.
