A workplace of positive people and ideas A brilliant city, an exciting lifestyle About the Opportunity As a Marketing and Content Coordinator ("Marketing Executive") for the Adelaide Economic Development Agency (AEDA), you'll be part of a high-performing, results-driven marketing team. Your position will play an integral role in supporting the implementation of marketing campaigns and content coordination across web, eDM and social media. Utilising your skills, talents and drawing from your experience of being a member of this community, you will focus on promoting Adelaide CBD and North Adelaide as a destination to invest, live, work, study and visit.

Major Events & Festivals: Adelaide Fringe, WOMADelaide, Illuminate Adelaide, Tour Down Under and more AEDA Business Summit City Hotels, Restaurants & Experiences Support and collaborate with small businesses Some of the day-to-day things you may see yourself doing include:
Supporting the marketing team to implement marketing campaigns in line with the AEDA Business Plan, from conception to completion. Ensuring marketing activities, communication and content are in line with the AEDA brand positioning and values. Managing social media platforms (Instagram / Facebook / YouTube / LinkedIn) across AEDA's accounts, Experience Adelaide, Adelaide Economic Development Agency, with the objective to drive awareness and engagement by analysing and optimising content. Engaging with agencies and suppliers, internal and external stakeholders, and city-based businesses as required. Developing and implementing brand-focussed content (visual and written) and publishing across website and email marketing, and other content in support of marketing promotions. **Please note that the actual title of this role is 'Marketing and Content Coordinator' in line with the naming conventions of City of Adelaide and the Adelaide Economic Development Agency.
About You To be successful in this role you will have:
Experience in the implementation and co-ordination of marketing campaigns and promotions across multiple channels for a varied audience – with a focus on customer-centricity. Excellent writing skills and a 'creative flair' for producing high quality, engaging content for users, whilst maintaining content strategy guidelines (tone of voice, style, etc). Demonstrated experience editing and producing website content using an enterprise content management system (CMS) and search engine optimisation (SEO) knowledge to ensure that all website content is optimised. A strong digital mindset with demonstrated experience using contemporary digital tools, including analytics and customer sentiment tools. Experience managing multiple social media channels, including planning and uploading content, community management, reporting and optimising. Knowledge and skills in email marketing focussing on email list management, creating and curating content to increase in email marketing performance. Skills in digital advertising, acquisition, optimisation, and retention, utilising various marketing tools, trends and best-practice is highly desirable.
