Established in 2002, Carbal Medical Services (Carbal) is a not-for-profit, charitable organisation dedicated to delivering comprehensive health services to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities in the Toowoomba and Warwick regions. Position Overview
The role will see you being an important conduit between Management and Stakeholders, ensuring that the requirements of our funding are met through events, marketing and merchandise. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will play a central role in ensuring effective communication with stakeholders, event planning for staff events and community events, and merchandise requirements aligned to our funding.
This position will be based in our Toowoomba Office and salary will be dependent on the applicant's experience.
Key duties will include, but not be limited to:
Primary liaison with the Marketing and Communication Contractors to execute social media messaging. Management and implementation of staff internal online "Bulletin Board". Identify ongoing internal promotional opportunities for social media. Identification and sourcing of quotes for promotional materials as needed in line with funding arrangements. Source photos and associated permissions for promotional activity. Collaborate with Carbal staff to aid content development to grow social media presence. Planning and execute events, both internal & external, at the direction of CFO & General Manager – Clinical Operations. Assist the CFO & General Manager – Clinical Operations in planning and executing marketing campaigns. Drafting and developing a range of marketing and communications collateral, including flyers, workbooks, marketing assets and website updates. Collaborate with Merchandise Stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of promotional materials. Participate in team brainstorms and contribute to creative marketing ideas. Support content shoots and assist with various marketing tasks and projects as needed. Any other tasks as required by the CFO and Senior Management. Requirements
Possess high level communication skills, the ability to work independently and have a thirst to learn. Creativity and imagination within your work. Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks. Excellent written communication skills with the ability to write a range of communications and marketing materials. Experience in Canva or similar software platform. Have previously worked in a Marketing / Promotion role. You must have a C Class driver's license. You will have a demonstrated ability to work autonomously and in a team environment. Able to obtain a blue card and satisfactory police check. Ability to adhere to confidentiality. High attention to detail. Good time management skills and self-motivated. Previous experience in the NFP sectors. Previous experience in Events Coordination. Strong eye for engaging content and maintaining brand integrity. Experience in working effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and a clear understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Culture. What We Can Offer You
