This role is critical in supporting the daily operations of the marketing department, managing organic social media content, and analysing paid advertising performance.
The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of digital marketing principles, a keen eye for social media best practices, and the ability to interpret and report on marketing analytics.
Your Core Focus Areas Your role will be centered around three key pillars:
Social Media Engagement: Actively manage and grow the company's social media presence by engaging with followers, responding to messages, and fostering a strong online community.Marketing Operations Coordination: Assist in the execution of day-to-day marketing activities, including campaign management, content creation, data entry and collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.Paid Advertising Analytics Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on paid ad performance, providing insights into key metrics such as click-through rates, conversion rates, and cost-per-acquisition to guide optimization strategies.Qualifications & Experience We're looking for someone with the following skills and experience:
Minimum 2 years previous marketing/content creation experience (desirable)Experience developing brand images/storytelling/strategy (desirable)Proficiency in Google based apps – Email, Docs, Sheets & DriveProficiency & experience in relevant social media platformsSelf-motivated & driven to learnAbility to monitor, maintain and coordinate multiple channels and partners including an agency with the support of the Marketing Manager and CMOAbility to create effective and exciting contentStrong communication and interpersonal skillsUnderstanding of digital customer journeys (desirable)Valid driver's licenceSome travel to Mackay, Townsville and Cairns bases may be requiredA Day in the Life - Working conditions From working on the road to supervising film shoots with our videographer to working in-house alongside the CMO to craft new and innovative ways to market our business - no two days are the same at GET.
