Marketing Coordinator

We are on a mission to connect deeply with our community and inspire them through sport. We're looking for a dynamic Marketing Coordinator to help amplify our impact, drive engagement, and contribute to the excitement of our club.

As a Marketing Coordinator, you'll play a key role in executing marketing campaigns, supporting digital initiatives, building game-day crowds, and creating strong media partnerships. Reporting to the Senior Brand & Marketing Executive, you'll collaborate with multiple internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure the success of our brand and events.

Key responsibilities: Assist in the planning, execution, and reporting of marketing campaigns across radio, TV, outdoor, and print channels.Develop creative briefs, coordinate feedback, and ensure deadlines are met.Help manage the club's digital marketing activities, including email campaigns, paid social media ads, SMS communications, and customer journeys.Support eCommerce site management and digital lead generation efforts.Lead strategies to maximize attendance and ticket sales for SUNS games.Promote match-day experiences and communicate initiatives effectively.Foster relationships with media partners to enhance brand sentiment and support campaigns.Assist in the delivery of home games and various club events. Essential Qualifications/Skills:A degree/diploma in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent.Strong understanding of marketing principles across multiple platforms.Excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills.A proactive, enthusiastic attitude with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.Strong relationship-building skills and exceptional customer service. Desirable but not essential skills:Experience in integrated marketing campaigns.Knowledge of AFL and the Gold Coast SUNS.Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.

The successful applicant will display excellent communications skills and a passion for continuous improvement. Experience in managing multiple activities within a fast-paced environment with changing priorities along with exceptional stakeholder management is highly desirable.
