The Opportunity
We are looking for a talented and digitally savvy marketing coordinator who is hungry to make their mark on our flagship coffee brand, Gloria Jeans, from day one. Reporting to the Brand Manager and working closely with the Marketing Manager and International Team, you will be contributing to existing marketing programs, whilst assisting in the development of new initiatives that align to brand and company goals. You will be a natural relationship builder and communicator, and already have a great understanding of all aspects of the digital marketing mix, including social and content development. Exposure or understanding of CRM and loyalty programs will be highly regarded. We are passionate about developing talent, and you will have the opportunity to work within a large marketing team (25+ people) with exposure to strategy development, brand planning, communications planning, and agency management. 
To be successful in this role, you will be a highly organised, self-motivated, reliable and energetic team player who can work equally well autonomously or collaboratively. Above all, you will have a desire to learn and grow and make this role your own!
Key focus areas for this role: CAMPAIGN EXECUTION: You will be highly organised and able to coordinate all campaign communication and support materials, including point of sale. You will also have the opportunity to manage local store campaigns and promotions with our Franchise Partners. COMMERCIAL: Assist in promotional analysis, market trends, product improvements, customer, and competitor insights and trends. Maintain reporting procedures, including monthly expenses, purchase orders, invoices, and budget tracking. COMMUNICATION: You will be passionate about customer service, and act as the first point of communication for our Franchise Partners for marketing queries. With a view of providing best-in-class support to our Franchise Partners, you will coordinate effective communications on behalf of the brand via key communication touchpoints, including EDM. EVENTS: Provide support for all localised point of purchase materials, PR, Radio, and media, and manage all Franchise Partner launches and events. About you: A minimum of 1.5+ years' experience in a similar marketing role, preferably within the Retail, FMCG or Franchising industries, or recent completion of marketing degree with a performance transcript. Excellent communications skills (written and verbal) and strong interpersonal skills. Exceptional attention to detail. Evidence of implementation of online and offline marketing strategies. A proven track record with Paid Social, and an understanding of Google tools such as Google Ads and Google Analytics. Ability to operate in a fast-paced and complex stakeholder environment. Demonstrable ability to consider the impact of marketing campaigns, present on performance and action insights for the purposes of optimisation. Maternity Contract until January 2025.
