Our purpose is to help people access the community services and information they need. We provide a range of services to assist vulnerable families, children, youth and older people within Dubbo and the surrounding communities.About The RoleThe Marketing Communications Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing communication initiatives in promoting the organisation's strategic purpose.This role is pivotal in shaping the public image and outreach of the organisation, ensuring that its values and impact are communicated effectively and authentically.The communications all-rounder is responsible for developing high-quality written content across a range of different channels and audiences.Creation of all marketing collateral including but not limited to brochures, adverts, and invitations.Managing all social media content, scheduling, enquiries and reporting.Managing public relations and media activities and maintaining positive relationships.Collaborating with the CEO, team members, partners and community to plan and create a wide range of events, marketing and communication campaigns, grant tendering and fundraising initiatives.Attending events, being a positive ambassador for CCS and supporting other staff as required.Performing a range of general duties in support of communications and marketing campaigns across the organisation and other duties as instructed by the CEO.About You – Essential CriteriaBachelor degree or higher level qualification in marketing, communications, public relations or a related discipline.At least two years relevant experience.Genuinely cares and wants to make a difference to our community.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and interpersonal skills.Ability to relate well to people from a variety of backgrounds.Has a creative mindset and a keen eye for detail and accuracy.High level technology skills in Microsoft Office, Canva, website content management systems and social media platforms.Ability to work as part of a team.Time management skills and the ability to manage priorities.Willing to complete a Police Check (with no disclosable outcomes).Current Driver's License.Highly desirableExperience working for a NFP, community sector or care industry.Experience in grant and tendering writing.Position SummaryPosition: Marketing Communications SpecialistContract duration: 24 monthsWork Type: Full time (Monday-Friday, 38 hours per week)Location: Dubbo, NSW (not suitable for remote working arrangements)Award: Social, Community, Home Care & Disability Services Industry Award (SCHADS)Salary: Salary from $68,093 per annum (fulltime), based on skills and experience + superannuation + not-for-profit salary packaging availableHow To ApplyApply online by submitting your resume, cover letter and answering the online application questions, ensure you outline your suitability for this role and how you meet the selection criteria.
