The fixed term Marketing Communications Lead will act as a central coordination resource to manage stakeholders, external suppliers and collateral through a comprehensive reappraisal of the organisation's communication channels, tools, and campaigns. This role will be responsible for coordinating workstreams to assess current strategies to align with Export Finance Australia's expanding objectives.
To be eligible for this role, the successful candidate will possess strong working knowledge of Export Finance Australia's mandates, existing channels and brand presence in the market. Key responsibilities include managing stakeholder engagement, collaborating with the appointed communications consultant to identify gaps and opportunities, recommend enhancements to both internal and external communications efforts, and implement recommendations to improve overall brand communication, market and customer engagement.
Communications Audit managementOversee and manage external suppliers and internal stakeholders to conduct a full audit of existing communication strategies, tools, channels, and content effectiveness.Gather insights through surveys, interviews, and data analytics to assess the performance of current communication activities.Oversee and coordinate a comprehensive, systematic review of the communication functions, including all internal and external communications channels, collateral, messaging and audience profiling.Ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget.Lead cross-functional teams, including stakeholders from Corporate Affairs & Strategy, Brand, Communications & Strategy, Investment Business Finance, Finance Partnership Transformation and Executive leadership.ImplementationCollaborate with the Brand, Communications and Strategy team to execute new content, collateral and assets across all channels.Stakeholder Management and ReportingEngage with internal and external stakeholders to gather input and feedback during the strategic review process.Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate the success of the communications strategy.Provide ongoing reports on the effectiveness of the new communications strategies, adjusting as needed.About you7+ years of experience in marketing and communications roles essential.Strong understanding with working in a variety of communication channels, including digital, social media, and traditional media is essential.Experience in leading and managing marketing projects is essential.Experience in managing external vendors and resources to deliver high-quality marketing deliverables, on time and on budget is essential.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency with communication and marketing tools such as CRM platforms, social media management tools, content management systems (CMS), and analytics software.Even if you haven't ticked every box but this role resonates with you, don't rule yourself out just yet, we'd love to hear from you!
