About the role An exciting opportunity exists to join Sarah Constructions on a full-time basis for someone just starting out within the marketing and communications world, with a wide range of tasks and activities.
The Marketing and Communications Graduate will provide support to the new business team, reporting to the Marketing and Communications Manager.
This position suits a creative professional that enjoys working in a varied and fast-paced role whilst learning the deliverables within a marketing team.
You will be assisting with numerous tasks in this varied and multi-faceted role with projects ranging from desktop publishing, content creation and social media programming.
Experience in graphic design is desirable, in particular, proficient use of the adobe creative suite.
Ideally you are an outside of the box thinker who can bring a fresh perspective and new ideas to the team whilst respecting the company's values and guidelines.
The responsibilities of this role include: Work collaboratively within the Marketing Team to assist in the design and development of marketing material Video content creation Develop graphics for web and digital purposes Assisting in creating creative content for social media channels including Linkedin, Facebook and Instagram Conduct website content updates Assisting in the management of digital asset libraries.
Assisting with formatting of internal documents with proofreading and editing of documents.
Keeping up to date of industry trends and compelling marketing campaigns.
Develop assets for print and meet supplier print requirements.
Ensure a thorough knowledge and understanding of the company's current Policies & Procedures, Promotions, Event, Plans and Products.
Address issues in a timely and appropriate manner.
Perform other duties as required About You As the successful applicant, you will possess the following: Formal qualifications in Marketing, Communications or similar is preferable Be a Team player Ability to communicate effectively and assertively, and to rapidly assimilate information; Ability to deal appropriately with sensitive information; Demonstrated ability to work independently and prioritise tasks; Demonstrated ability to work in a busy environment; Previous experience in a similar marketing role is highly regarded but not essential.
Excellent communication skills, both within an internal team environment and externally.
Takes initiative and ability to work autonomously but as part of a supportive, collaborative team.
