Marketing & Communications Coordinator

The Marketing and Communications Coordinator will support the development and execution of Jord's marketing strategies and communication plans to enhance the organisation's brand, engage target audiences, and drive business growth.
This role requires a proactive individual with strong communication skills, a creative mindset, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Key Responsibilities:Customer Engagement and Event Marketing:Acting as the brand champion of Jord Group by providing coaching and tools to staff regarding effective communication methodologies to achieve maximum impact and engagement.Support business objectives and promote key products or capabilities by strategically selecting speaking and sponsorship opportunities at industry events.Work collaboratively with the sales team to create engaging event spaces and marketing materials for conferences and exhibitions, as well as ensuring external presentations and speeches are tailored to resonate with target audiences and reinforce Jord's brand positioning.Manage vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective production of marketing materials.Produce editorial and advertisements as required to support Sales activities.Bid and Tender Support:Establish standardised brand templates for bid and tender support to ensure consistency and quality in submissions.Develop a business development repository and ensure uptake of reusable content and templates to streamline the bid and tender preparation process.Stay informed about trends and best practices in communication, and leverage this knowledge to continually improve materials.Content Creation and Social Media Management:Develop engaging content for various channels, including social media, newsletters, websites, and promotional materials.Proofread and edit content to ensure accuracy and consistency with brand voice.Manage and update social media profiles and content.Analyse social media metrics and provide insights for improvement.Public Relations:Assist in the creation and distribution of press releases, media kits, and other PR materials.Build and maintain relationships with media contacts and influencers.Support the organisation's presence at events and manage media requests.Internal Communications:Inform and educate staff about the brand resources available to ensure consistent and effective external representation.Support planning and execution of communications for the annual staff conference, town hall meetings, and other leadership communications.Work effectively with the Sales and Operations teams to understand and promote new technologies and capabilities both internally and externally.Skills and Experience:At least 5 years professional experience in a marketing communications role.Tertiary qualifications in public relations, communications, marketing or a related discipline.Exceptional writing, editing and oral communication skills.Excellent computer skills including advanced skills in Office computing applications such as Word and PowerPoint.Experience using Wordpress, Adobe InDesign and Adobe Premiere is preferred.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively as part of a team in a dynamic work environment.Strong organisational skills, ability to successfully complete several tasks concurrently, maintain high levels of attention to detail, and meet deadlines.#J-18808-Ljbffr
