Shangri-La Sydney is seeking a passionate Marketing Communications Coordinator to join our talented team at Sydneys premier harbourside hotel.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with the Marketing team across a range of B2B and B2C business units, including accommodation, Events/Conferences, Food & Beverage, Spa, and Corporate, to execute cutting-edge marketing campaigns that drive consumer conversion and assist hotels to achieve business goals.
You will support the Senior Marketing Communications Executive and coordinate the implementation of marketing communications strategies across multiple platforms and channels for both domestic and international markets, business and leisure.

Your role: Duties: Strategies: well versed in the full-stack marketing strategies for the hotel and work with the onsite marketing team to deliver results and meet business goals.
Social Media: Create weekly social media content calendars, from shooting in-house content to selection of photography, videography, and captions.
Copy: Create copy across marketing channels, including website, digital campaigns, print material, award submissions and press releases.
Administration: Manage administration for the department, including PR files, media tracking, photo library, finance liaison, meeting agendas and minutes.
Reports: measure, analyse and report on effectiveness of strategies on a regular basis Support: Assists the team regarding all facets of the marketing mix, including media relations, collateral creation, photography, videography, promotions, advertising, events, and digital.
Relationships: Establishes and maintains a harmonious working relationship with partners, suppliers and colleagues.
Brand: Ensures that Shangri-La Group brand standards and policies are correctly applied across marketing strategies.
Product: Well versed with all business units, outlets and areas of the hotel.
Experiences and skills required: One to two years experience in a marketing communications role A Marketing or Communications undergraduate degree Social media maven Copywriting skills Excellent communication capabilities; verbal and written Highly organised with a fine attention to detail Strong time management capabilities A razor-sharp eye for accuracy Keen to learn and grow with the role, and committed to excellence Keen insight into luxury hotels, restaurants and bars, spa and the content which appeals to the target market
