THE ROLE
We are looking for a hands-on and highly capable Marketing and Events Manager to support the Chief Marketing Officer in executing marketing plans and strategies across target segments.
This role involves managing marketing collateral, brand presence, as well as developing and coordinating all internal and external communications to ensure consistent messaging aligned with organisational values.

The Marketing and Events Manager will collaborate with various stakeholders to deliver impactful, on-brand experiences through effective event management and coordination of engagement activities, ensuring high value for all participants across the organisation's network.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and manage communications for marketing projects and collateral across various mediums (print, digital media, web content, direct mail, stakeholder communications, newsletter, etc.
)Ensure all marketing and communications collateral (brochures, reports, presentations) is up to date.Assist with press releases and collaborate with external suppliers.Review existing activities for improvement opportunities and support ad hoc marketing initiatives.Coordinate with external event providers for successful event execution and maintain positive relationships.Manage both face-to-face and online training and events, from concept development through to execution and post-event follow-ups.Coordinate event communications, invitations, registration, and post-event materials, ensuring the events calendar remains up to date.Promote events to drive stakeholder engagement and manage event budgets.Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders and oversee digital content production.Supervise the Admin Assistant in delivering digital content, ensuring quality and brand consistency.Analyse traffic and user engagement across platforms and manage content distribution on digital channels.Manage digital platforms, including Websites, Secure Portals, SharePoint, Social (Messaging (WhatsApp) and LinkedIn) and campaign management (MailChimp).Create and manage databases for targeted communications, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.Use analytics to optimise content and identify improvement opportunities.Produce monthly/quarterly reports on events, post-event evaluations, budget reconciliations, key learnings and online platform usage.Identify and implement improvements and efficiencies while maintaining quality.Support management and the broader team with various tasks as needed.Stay updated on marketing trends and contribute new ideas to enhance the marketing function.Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure departmental cohesion and comply with policies regarding sensitive data.WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE: Diploma in marketing, business administration, or similar (desirable).2 years of experience in marketing and events, preferably in professional or finance sectors.Understanding of marketing and communications principles.Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office and content management systems.Experience with digital platforms (SharePoint, WordPress, social media) and campaign management platforms (MailChimp).Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.Excellent organisation, time management, and analytical skills with attention to detail.Strong work ethic to consistently produce high-quality outcomes and execute results effectively.Professional demeanour with a proactive approach to problem-solving and initiative in driving projects forward.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while focusing on priorities.Sound judgment in decision-making.WHAT WE OFFER: A competitive remuneration package.Flexibility to work up to 2 days per week from home.Work alongside an innovative, collaborative, and empowering team.A focus on mentoring and support to deliver personal excellence and growth.If this sounds like the role for your next career move, please submit your CV with a short cover letter.
