This could be your next big adventure!ABOUT THE POSITION:Museums Victoria is looking for a motivated communications professional to develop and execute dynamic marketing and communications activities for the Museums Victoria Venue & Events department. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will implement engaging, targeted and cost-effective marketing initiatives to generate awareness for Museums Victoria B2C and B2B events and activations.Helping to drive ROI, the successful applicant will:Develop and execute innovative and cost-effective activities through a dynamic calendar of events that reaches and builds both B2B and B2C audiences.Lead communications across a variety of channels including web, print, social media, and more.Content creation and direction for digital and print media.Create unique PR opportunities and activations for consumer events.Asset creation and management.NOTABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:We are seeking an organised, deadline-driven applicant with proven ability working in a fast-moving communications and events setting. The successful applicant will have:Demonstrated experience in successfully implementing commercial B2B and/or B2C marketing and communications campaigns.Strong understanding of the events, visitor attraction or arts and cultural industries.Superior written and visual communication skills.Proven ability to generate positive PR coverage.Strong experience in managing events and suppliers, including developing design briefs and managing creative outputs in an environment with competing deadlines.Excellent organisational and time management skills.Delivery of campaigns on budget and an understanding of the fundamentals of ROI on decision making.OTHER INFORMATION:This is a full-time, ongoing position.
