Key role statement We are seeking an experienced and proactive Marketing and Communications Coordinator to join our Amaroo team on a maternity cover contract.
This individual will be responsible for executing the overarching strategy and ensuring a strong brand presence for Amaroo within the aged care sector.
This is a diverse role that is well suited to someone with 3-4 years of experience.
12-month maternity leave cover (with potential for extension)Job related requirements Leading and executing the overarching marketing strategy.Managing Amaroo's WordPress website, including publishing new landing pages and blog posts.Copywriting for internal and external communications, including newsletters, testimonials, promotional collateral and website content.Managing Amaroo's social media channels, including the creation and scheduling of engaging content, monitoring conversations, and responding to enquiries.Designing promotional collateral across print and digital using Canva and Adobe InDesign.
This includes print advertisements, flyers, brochures and newsletters.Coordinate and manage internal and external events, including planning, promotion, execution and reporting.Photographing events and taking imagery of staff.Work closely with external vendors, including printers and website hosts.Assist with the launch and management of the Amaroo Intranet.Provide a range of marketing support and guidance to the wider Amaroo team.Supporting the Chief Executive Officer with ad hoc administrative tasks as required, including meeting coordination and minute taking.Manage the Amaroo marketing budget.Other duties consistent with the position where required.Essential capability requirements A tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, media, or a related discipline, and/or equivalent demonstrated experience in a related field.Strong strategic marketing, communications, and project management skills particularly in the not-for-profit sector.Proven track record in building and managing relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders, including senior executives.Ability to be self-motivated, responsive, and flexible in an environment with time pressures and multiple priorities.A proactive professional with strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused approach able to work with a broad range of people from varying backgrounds.Ability to show initiative within a team environment.Intermediate Canva, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office skills.What we offer
