About the role As our first marketing hire, you will be responsible for developing our marketing playbook from the ground up. After setting the foundation, you'll have the autonomy to test and pursue new marketing and growth initiatives that will drive brand awareness, expand our client base, and support business growth. You'll work closely with the Director and Account Manager to align your efforts with broader company goals.
This role requires both strategic planning and hands-on execution across marketing and business development. You'll shape and implement go-to-market strategies, design impactful campaigns, and build relationships with prospective clients.
Key responsibilities Develop and implement marketing strategies: Create, execute, and refine marketing plans to promote our services, attract new clients, and build our agency's presence.Lead gen and client acquisition: Identify, target, and engage potential clients through campaigns, networking, and partnerships, focusing on nurturing leads and developing them into long-term clients.Content development and digital marketing: Craft compelling content for various channels, including social media, email, website and traditional marketing avenues like print to communicate our brand's value and expertise.Event participation: Represent the agency at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to enhance visibility and create new business opportunities.Client relationship management: Identify and build relationships with key clients to foster loyalty and identify opportunities for additional services.Performance analysis and reporting: Track, analyse and report on marketing and business development metrics, adjusting strategies to improve performance and meet KPIs. About you Proactive self-starter with a passion for marketing and business development, ideally with experience in the creative industry.Have 3+ years of experience in a similar role, including expertise in digital marketing, lead generation, and client relationship management.Oversee traditional and digital media strategies, ensuring fully integrated campaignsDesign and execute targeted thought leadership campaignsManage social media platforms and drive engagement across Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook.Creative problem-solver who's comfortable working both strategically and tactically.Strong proficiency in CRM platforms, content management systems, and digital marketing tools.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a flair for storytelling and a keen eye for design. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Success in this role will be measured by metrics such as revenue growth, client acquisition, client retention, lead generation, and brand engagement.
