The Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre (BCEC) plays a significant role in Brisbane's growth by hosting over 1000 events per year and attracting national and international conferences to Brisbane. As a world-class venue, we do this by collaborating with Brisbane's business and innovation community to identify and target international events and conferences that 'shine a light' on Australia's world leading research and technology development.
BCEC offers Brisbane's most diverse range of event spaces, from boutique boardrooms to large scale exhibition halls. We provide destination bidding expertise to Brisbane's and Australia's leading researchers and industry leaders.
About the role… Develop, drive, and execute our marketing strategy. The role involves overseeing the implementation of the annual Marketing Plan, brand management, stakeholder engagement, and delivery of tactical activities to ensure BCEC's competitive edge in the national and global marketplace.
About you… As an experienced marketing professional, you're adept in project managing end-to-end marketing campaigns from strategy, briefing, development and budget, to execution, measurement and reporting. Expert in executing sales-led brand messaging and content creation across digital and traditional platforms. Hands-on knowledge of website management, optimisation, structure, and content. Analytical and creative by nature and experienced in destination 'story-telling'.Experienced or understanding of the business events / convention industry.Understanding of business drivers, including knowledge of international economic, cultural, and social trends Able to thrive in a busy and collaborative work environment.The successful applicant will be required to provide the Centre with a National Police Certificate Name Only (Police Check).
