The team at QinetiQ are seeking a Maritime Systems Team Lead to join our Advisory division, based in Canberra.
As part of our support to Defence, your role will be to support successful delivery of the program of work, for a major Naval Project. In this role, you will lead a team of engineers and maritime specialists to deliver systems engineering support and operational and technical advice to a major Naval Program.
Services may include, but are not limited to, matters such as:
Project Management and SupportRequirements managementSystems Engineering (SE) activities including development of key SE documents.Seaworthiness ActivitiesCapability Assurance supportTo be successful in the role of Maritime Systems Team Lead, you will require:
Tertiary Education and appropriate professional qualifications in Marine Engineering, Maritime Systems, Electrical/Electronics Engineering and/or Naval ArchitectureWell-developed technical writing skillsDemonstrated strong communication skills with a focus on stakeholder engagement, capability development and managementDemonstrated leadership skills and experience leading technical teamsHighly Desirable: An ADF or defence industry backgroundPrevious experience with Defence capability programs or projectsExperience with Requirements Management and DOORS databaseMature understanding of the RAN's Seaworthiness Assurance FrameworkApplicants MUST hold a minimum NV1 Australian Government Security Clearance Looking for an Employer with Benefits?
