The Role We have two Maritime Security Officer positions available in Townsville working around the arrival and departure of naval vessels at the port. This role will see you supporting our client by providing consistent support with safety protocols and procedures, maintaining compliance, and ensuring accurate records of contractor's documentation onsite.
The Tasks Access control for main entrance Ensure that all contractors are signed in correctly, with evidence of their required documentation such as a current MSIC and NSS induction Keeping the site compliant with standard operating procedures Primary emergency and first aid response Ability to write detailed incident reports Aid visitors and members of staff The Successful Candidate A current Security Providers Licence A current Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC) A valid First Aid certificate Flexibility in work hours Full Australian Work Rights Proficient communication skills The successful candidate will be part of an outstanding work environment in a Company who invests in their people, training and development with a focus on diversity and internal promotion.
