What to expect Our Spotswood location is the home base for the team, with a well-equipped service area and engineering workshop. As a mobile yacht service, most jobs are completed off-site at marinas around the picturesque Melbourne suburbs.
As marine specialists working across all types of hardware and applications, our technicians are comfortable with problem-solving and unfamiliar situations. We work on a range of jobs from service to complete re-powers, covering engine, transmission, and running gear on commercial vessels and pleasure craft in the 20-80ft range.
Customer experience is a top priority, so the team is always well-presented and prepared to communicate progress to customers and hand off jobs at completion. Each technician takes ownership of their jobs while working as a team to share knowledge and ensure high-quality results.
What you'll do Test and troubleshoot high-end marine engines and electrical systems.Perform service and repair on engines, transmissions, and running gear.Complete professional documentation of service records and repairs.Guide and mentor apprentices.What you'll bring 4+ years of experience as a marine technician/mechanic or diesel mechanic in the marine industry.Trade qualification as a marine technician, diesel mechanic, or marine engineer.
