Marine Surveyor

A full-time Marine Surveyor position has arisen in our Perth office.The Perth position, while based in Perth, may require work and visits to East Coast Ports and travel within WA.The person we are looking for must be a committed team player, able to work under pressure, with attention to detail, the ability to investigate and identify issues, excellent report writing skills, and the ability to meet deadlines for reporting.We expect the candidate to assist with the continued growth and improvement of the company.To attain this, the person will possess:Master Mariner Class I / Chief Officer or Class 1 or 2 EngineerExperience in Marine SurveyingExperience in technical inspection and report writingExperience with General cargo, container RoRo, and bulk cargoConversant with local rules, regulations, and terminal operationsValid MSICValid Driver's LicenseBe able to pass Medical/Drug and alcohol testFully vaccinated for Covid-19Cargo Care Pty Ltd is a fully owned Australian company and is DAS – ISO 9001:2015 certified, undertaking all forms of marine surveying services including cargo & vessel surveying, cargo measurements, draft surveys, vehicle inspections, P & I club work, ship owners and charterers inspections, and associated marine survey requirements.
