An entry requirement for employment with the Australian Defence Force (ADF) is that you must be an Australian citizen. Your role: This is a driving job with a difference – you'll operate a variety of high-performance vessels on military operations and disaster-relief scenarios. As a member of a large and highly-organised team, you'll play a pivotal role within the Army's distribution network. Your day-to-day tasks will involve planning the movements of personnel, supplies and equipment – and be responsible for their safe delivery by water. The majority of these positions are located in QLD but posting opportunities also exist in VIC, NSW, WA and the NT. Salary: In the Army you'll get paid a good salary from day one regardless of your age, experience or qualifications. Upon commencing training, your starting salary will be approximately $54,815 per annum plus 16.4% superannuation and your pay will increase as you progress through training. On completion of your initial military training and initial employment training, you could earn $77,451 per annum plus generous super.
