With a total of 10 vessels cruising into the Swan Valley, Swan River Perth to Fremantle and out to Rottnest Island, this is a great opportunity to join a committed and experienced team.
About the Role You will be required to work a mixture of shifts covering days, evenings, nights, weekends & public holidays across our "Season" of October to April.
You will be required to participate in training across multiple vessels and must be committed to working the full season.
These are key roles within the organisation and requires leadership, energy, commitment, initiative, teamwork, multi-skilling, and time management skills.
You must hold a current AMSA accreditation as an MED 2 and have work rights for Australia for the duration of the contract.
This role is available on either a full time or contract basis.
Hourly Rate $33.84 plus weekend penalties About You Key requirements: Strong Communication - written and verbal Organisation and planning Flexibility and reliability Outstanding customer service Proven ability to handle difficult situations Be well presented at all times Ability to interact with guests in a friendly yet professional manner whist promoting the philosophies of SeaLink WA Tourism industry experience Available to work public holidays, weekends and evenings - Essential Full availability from October to end March - Essential Problem solving and engineering diagnostic skills These key requirements will be complimented by experience and skills in the following areas: Senior First Aid Qualification - Essential Current Driver's Licence - Essential Knowledge of Safety Management Systems - Essential Knowledge of WH&S Regulations - Essential Shipboard Safety Certificate - Essential Experience with Scania and/or Caterpillar Marine Engines – Highly desirable An understanding of the following :- Diesel engines, electrics both domestic and marine and plumbing and plumbing systems How to Apply Click APPLY and fill in as much information as you can in the track record section of the application, paying close attention to each question.
