Salary: $87,360 plus 11% super
Hours: 38 hours
Mode: Full time
Location: Hammondville NSW 2170
Experience required: Minimum 2 years' experience in relevant roles.

Specializing in custom-made pontoons, ramps, sea-steps, and slipways, we pride ourselves on incorporating tried and tested engineering, recycled materials, and modern hydraulic systems into our innovative designs. Our company's legacy is defined by unmatched knowledge of marine environments, dedication to excellence, and a commitment to sustainable practices. Join us in shaping the future of marine construction with a dynamic team and a passion for building resilient waterfront structures.

The candidate in mind will be expected to perform the following duties that include but are not limited to:

• Study and interpret drawings and specifications for various marine structures, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
• Source and select high-quality timbers and materials, considering sustainability and recycling options.
• Prepare layouts based on project requirements, optimizing material usage.
• Utilize carpentry skills to cut, assemble, and fasten materials with precision, ensuring the structural integrity of marine structures.
• Construct, repair, and install custom-made pontoons, ramps, sea-steps, slipways, and jetties.
• Execute repairs on existing marine fittings with meticulous attention to detail.
• Collaborate with the project team to bring concept designs to life, incorporating engineering principles, innovation, and sustainability.
• Execute precise wood joints to enhance the strength and durability of marine constructions.
• Construct concrete formwork when required for specific projects.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and guidelines, ensuring a secure working environment.

Qualification
• Certificate III in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent

Other Requirements:
• Proficient in interpreting marine-specific drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Strong woodworking skills with the ability to work with diverse materials.
• Advanced knowledge of marine construction techniques, including custom pontoons, ramps, slipways, and jetties (Preferrable)
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
