Marina Manager - Runaway Bay, Gold Coast, Queensland
Are you an experienced Marina Manager ready to take the helm at one of the Gold Coast's premier marina locations? We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to lead the operations at our picturesque Runaway Bay and Hope Harbour marinas.
About the Role
Hours of work: Full time
Vehicle: A vehicle is supplied.
Working Model: 100% marina based. No working from home.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day marina operations with a focus on exceptional customer service.
Ensure excellence in Workplace Health and Safety (WH&S) and environmental compliance.
Manage and support marina and maintenance staff; cultivate and maintain our great team culture.
Ensure high standards of customer service, safety, and security for all marina users.
Develop relationships with boat owners, tenants, and other stakeholders.
Manage commercial tenancies including leasing.
Work with the Finance Team to develop and present financial information to the Board.
Monitor expenditure within Board approved parameters.
Requirements:
Prior experience in marina management is essential.
A genuine passion for boating and general marina operations.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Proven ability to manage and motivate a team.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Experience in Microsoft Office, Pacsoft NG management, and Xero is desirable.
A full, clean Australian Drivers licence is required.
Marina Commercial Vessel qualifications would be advantageous.
Must be based in Australia and eligible to work.
