About the Company: This well-established construction business has been operating for 20+ years with a focus on delivering a high-quality product. They are currently going through a growth phase and are seeking a motivated and proactive estimator to join their team.
The Role: Be part of a busy estimating division that prides itself on its collaborative nature. The successful candidate will work across a variety of projects, which will allow for the expansion and development of your skillset.
Reporting to an experienced Estimating Manager, your duties will include but are not limited to:
Prepare accurate cost estimates for tenders, variations (standard, non-standard, post-contract), and re-tenders. Review orders, tenders, and variations against documentation to ensure accuracy. Manage enquiries from suppliers, trades, and the Building team. Produce accurate documentation within budgeted timelines. Resolve ordering oversights and make amendments as required. Maintain a thorough knowledge of company products and services. Review site margins regularly. Consistently review and aim to improve ETS. To be successful you will need: First and foremost, a positive attitude and a willingness to contribute to a growing team. Minimum 3 years experience estimating in the volume space. Advanced Microsoft Office skills. Experience working with estimating software is a must. A strong work ethic and ability to multi-task. #J-18808-Ljbffr
