Excellent training to develop you into a specialist in your field Join a highly experienced team with an excellent team culture Deep seated relationships with world-class miners throughout Tasmania The role/ duties Reporting into the workshop/field supervisor and working closely with experienced mechanics, you will enjoy working in a role that will see you working field service and in the workshop on UG hard rock mining equipment. You will also be involved with:
Field Service maintenance & breakdowns across various mine sites in Tasmania The need to work away and stay on camp on a regular basis Paid travel to and from site when working away Workshop rebuilds and major maintenance projects 5:2 roster - every weekend off - standard hours 8.00am - 4.30pm (you may be required to start earlier/finish later when in the field) This is a standout opportunity to further your skills and experience with a world-renowned OEM. Working on technically challenging projects Furthering your skills in a close-knit team Earn an attractive hourly rate plus super + overtime opportunities Contract through Marble with long-term job security with options to move to the OEM's books Opportunities to secure a field service ute About you You will have come from a heavy vehicle or earthmoving background and have strong experience working in a workshop-based or field service environment maintaining heavy equipment operating in UG mining, open cut mining, civil, forestry, or Ag.
Underground hard rock mining experience (highly regarded, not essential) Ability to work in a role that involves attending to breakdowns on machinery in the field Strong knowledge of hydraulics, electrics, and mechanics Excellent attitude towards work and safety Team player and can also work autonomously What's next?
