The Role
Oversee the design, coordination and implementation of HVAC systems on commercial construction projects.
Play a critical role in the planning, development, and implementation of HVAC systems across major construction projects such as hospitals, schools, and office blocks.
From scratch HVAC system design, liaising with clients over briefs, occasionally obtaining pricing/costs, developing detailed drawings and specifications for HVAC systems, and coordinating with builders from design into construction to ensure design is replicated into construction.
Select the most suitable HVAC equipment based on project requirements, energy efficiency goals, budgets, and local building codes.
Office and site-based role, necessary to be based in Canberra.
Ensuring the efficient, reliable, and sustainable operation of HVAC systems in buildings.
Requirements
Engineering degree and registered with Engineer's Australia.
Local experience and understanding of Australian building codes.
Ideally coming from a contractor.
