Role Summary We are seeking a suitably qualified & career minded individual to join our team in the newly created role of Manufacturing Technical Officer. You will be providing day-to-day technical support across manufacturing operations, safety, quality and training to ensure that our systems, facilities and equipment function efficiently.
Key Responsibilities: Management of regulatory compliance in relation to safety, environment, quality & security. Undertake quality and safety investigations. Support the optimum manufacture and packing of products through timely review of documentation. Assist with the management of inventory. Produce manufacturing and packing documentation with associated product labels in accordance with quality requirements and manufacturing targets and timeframes. Support manufacturing related training including the review and management of training curricula and conducting training and competency assessments. Support and assist with process improvement. Specific qualifications, experience and abilities will include:
Demonstrated experience in a manufacturing technical role is essential. Experience with managing and conducting investigations of safety and/or quality incidents within a manufacturing environment. Experience with the management of manufacturing documentation. Experience with conducting training and competency assessments and the ability to support the development of training documentation. Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice. Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as strong literacy and numeracy ability. Exceptional team player. Ability to quickly adapt to internal systems and a proactive, can-do attitude. Tertiary qualifications in Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or similar (desirable).
