We are seeking a motivated individual to join the Colgate-Palmolive Villawood Home Care manufacturing team on afternoon shift (3pm - 11pm).
The Manufacturing Team Member (MTM) is responsible for working in a team to successfully accomplish business objectives:
Producing a range of Colgate products including Liquid Home Care and Fabric ConditionersWorking safely according to Villawood principles and guidelinesIdentifying opportunities for Continuous ImprovementSolving problems in the manufacturing environmentWorking in a team to achieve production targetsEnsuring product meets all quality specificationsMaintaining environmental standards in regard to the manufacture of Colgate productExperience as a Machine Operator in FMCGAbility to work in a technically advanced / automated manufacturing environmentProblem solving and ability to respond efficiently to production breakdownsCommunication (written and verbal)Ability to record and analyse basic production dataBasic computer skills (Windows/Google applications)Personal attributes required: Will be fully committed to achieving the company's business goalsHave a high regard for their own safety and safety of othersAre capable of accepting responsibilityAre team playersAre flexible to work shift work, as requiredAre hard working, innovative, dedicated, flexible and self motivatedInteract and communicate well both individually and as members of a teamAre willing to become well trained and technically proficient, learning to perform a variety of tasksQualifications & Experience Trade Qualifications are highly regardedExperience in a manufacturing environment/similar industry highly regardedOur Commitment to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
