With a focus on Quality, Safety, Delivery, and Cost Efficiency, you'll play a crucial role in guiding our production team to meet Supply Chain goals while fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture.
Your expertise will drive our continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging industry knowledge to optimize processes and uphold quality standards.
This role offers the perfect platform for a dedicated leader to make an impactful contribution to our production operations.Please note: This is a 6-month Fixed Term Contract working the Day Shift from Monday to Wednesday, 6am - 6pm.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee and execute the production plan across three lines, ensuring quality and safety standards are rigorously maintained.
Use your expertise to troubleshoot issues on the line and actively participate in continuous improvement efforts.Maintain control over packaging processes, implementing corrective actions to prevent substandard outputs and ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, and other quality and safety standards.Manage and influence production variances, ensuring alignment with budgeted labor costs and effectively managing overtime to maintain cost efficiency.Lead by example, providing support and direction to your team while fostering a positive, results-driven environment.
Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching and mentoring team members to achieve their full potential.Use SAP and MS Office applications to monitor and report on production metrics, raw material usage, and process efficiencies.Promote a culture of safety by identifying and addressing workplace hazards, contributing to environmental management, and actively supporting continuous improvements in health, safety, and environmental practices.About YouYou're a motivated, results-oriented professional with a background in fast-paced manufacturing environments, ideally within FMCG, pharmaceuticals, or a related field.
As a natural leader and a people person, you have a proven ability to inspire your team to meet and exceed production goals while maintaining a supportive and collaborative atmosphere.
Additionally, you bring:Hands-on experience with Blow Moulder machinery would be beneficial or a strong willingness to learn.Mechanical or electrical aptitude, allowing you to quickly diagnose and resolve operational issues.Leadership skills with a strong track record of fostering a collaborative environment, driving productivity, efficiency, and continuous improvement.Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to lead by example and support a positive workplace culture.Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office would be beneficial, enabling you to effectively manage and report on production data.Your practical approach and mechanical insights, coupled with your dedication to team development, make you an ideal fit for this role.Asahi Beverages is a leading multi-beverage organisation with a rich and varied history.
