Assembly & Process Work (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics) Full time Our client based in Melbourne's West, who are the Industry Association for Caravans within Australia, are seeking to appoint a Manufacturing Relationship Manager. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in strengthening the engagement and support for the caravan and RV manufacturers within the association. This role focuses on managing the RV Master Manufacturers Accreditation Program, leading manufacturers working groups, and developing industry standards and frameworks. Additionally, the manager will enhance member value through existing events and initiatives and expand the member base through proactive recruitment and compliance auditing.
Key Responsibilities Accreditation Program Management: Oversee and promote the RV Master Manufacturers Accreditation Program to ensure high standards across all manufacturers.Manage regular audits and assessments to maintain accreditation standards and compliance.Initiate and lead working groups focusing on common industry challenges such as manufacturing standards, consumer laws, and industry-specific ombudsman services.Facilitate collaboration and innovation among members to develop and implement solutions that enhance industry standards.Manufacturer Membership Management, Expansion and Engagement: Manage the membership of manufacturers, including visitation of members and ensuring up-to-date membership contacts.Identify potential new members through strategic market research and personal visits, explaining the benefits and services offered by the association.Develop and implement strategies to attract and onboard new members, including conducting business audits to assess eligibility and alignment with association standards.Event and Program Development: Lead and grow association events such as the Trade Expo, the Hall of Fame, and other member-focused initiatives.Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful event planning and execution.Industry Advocacy and Compliance: Ensure that all members adhere to industry regulations and association standards, providing guidance on compliance rectification as needed.Communication and Reporting: Maintain active communication channels with members through various platforms to keep them informed and engaged.Provide regular feedback and reports to the CEO on industry trends, member needs, and program effectiveness.Key Accountabilities / Tasks (ongoing) For the Manufacturing Manager in the caravan and RV manufacturing sector, key accountabilities would encompass a range of responsibilities that directly impact the success and integrity of the association's relationship with its members, the execution of its programs, and the overall improvement of industry standards.
