As the Manufacturing Quality Specialist at Ballantyne, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance across our production facilities in Laverton North, VIC.
Reporting to the Quality Manager of the site, you will be responsible for developing and implementing robust quality assurance processes that drive continuous improvement within the manufacturing environment. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity for an experienced quality professional to make a significant impact within our organisation.
What you'll be doing Oversee quality control activities across all manufacturing operations, including inspections, testing, and processing CCP'sDevelop and maintain quality systems that meet or exceed industry standards and regulatory requirements providing assurance of continual quality improvementsAnalyse quality data, identify trends, and implement corrective and preventive actions to address issues and opportunitiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve quality-related challengesProvide support, training and guidance to manufacturing staff on quality processes, hygiene and SOP'sStay up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices, and ensure the organisation's complianceContinuously seek opportunities to improve manufacturing processes with respect to Quality Systems/HACCP/GMPPrepare detailed quality reports for management and key stakeholdersWhat we're looking for Degree in a relevant field, such as Engineering, Food Science/Technology, or a related disciplineMinimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing quality management role, preferably in the Food IndustryIn-depth knowledge of quality management principles, tools, and techniques, relating to Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and GFSI standardsStrong knowledge of HACCP, DFSV, FSSC, HalalExcellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skillsStrong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teamsProficient in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to use quality management softwareProven track record of driving continuous improvement and quality initiativesFamiliar with relevant industry regulations and quality standardsWhat we offer Competitive remuneration packageOpportunities for professional development and career progressionSupportive and collaborative company culture that values work-life balanceAbout us Ballantyne is a leading manufacturer of high-quality products.
