Claremont is the largest Cadbury factory in Australia and Southern Hemisphere.
Recently celebrating 100 years in production, the site delivers 200 million blocks, and 60,000 tonnes of chocolate annually, including other iconic products like Cadbury Freddo, Twirl and Caramello Koalas.
Due to an internal promotion, we have an exciting opportunity as Manufacturing Manager and FI Lead to lead the production operations in the Claremont Plant and delivering key performance targets (SQCDSM) in safety, quality, productivity, volumes, cost, sustainability, organizational morale.
You will ensure our manufacturing strategy is implemented and is fully effective and you will strive to build a high performing organization.
How you will contribute You will: Lead the efficient and safe manufacture of high-quality product through Servant Leadership, the application of IL6S principles & concepts A zero-loss mindset and driving Best In Class results in SQDCSM (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Sustainability, Morale) Heavy focus on building capability to empower teams & drive results through others, using the 5 E Leadership Model to achieve major transformation within the organisation Drive the Operating team to identify and manage improvements to technology, culture, capability and operating systems to deliver a best practice and reliable operation.
Lead the Maintenance & Reliability strategy and Progressive Maintenance Pillar for the site Lead and manage direct reports by driving capability through effective coaching and mentoring, as well a role modelling business principles and values What you will bring A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career and the following experience and knowledge: Minimum of 7-10 years' experience in strong operational & manufacturing leadership experience in CPG/FMCG industry with experience in TPM-Total productive maintenance, and lean manufacturing principles Proven coaching, and leadership skills in a team-based environment/people engagement Excellent communication (verbal & written) Strong financial & business acumen An Engineer with project management skills and knowledge of industrial maintenance and manufacturing equipment Technical knowledge of Kronos, SAP CMMS and Microsoft Excel desirable.
