Job Opportunity: EstimatorNew opportunity for a skilled Estimator with trade background to join an experienced and dynamic company in Northgate, specializing in cost analysis for innovative welding, fabrication, and machining services. This pivotal role is shaped around developing responses to customer RFQs, performing general Project Management duties, and supporting other day-to-day estimation tasks within a growing company.Overview:Salary: $110,000K - $130,000K + SuperSupportive, friendly, and driven workplaceA positive & rewarding work cultureFuture career progression on offer long termDiverse variety of estimating month to monthResponsibilities:Communicate with customers promptly and frequently throughout the quoting for the purpose of technical clarification, obtaining priority direction, providing a status update and in general providing excellent customer service.Review customer engineering drawings.Populate system with accurate BOM information and obtain prices from approved key suppliers.Develop a labour estimate using industry accepted manufacturing methods and rates of productivity.Consult with internal production resources on the achievability of the labour hours.Determine manufacturing route based on customer specification and knowledge of metal fabrication and machining processes and techniques.Determine best procurement strategy for quotations and obtaining the lowest cost for quality manufacture.Stay aware of job execution and success and communicate with customer and internal resources when required.Attract new business with strong connections and a positive reputation within the Industry.Perform other duties to support the small business such as material purchasing, order processing, etc.Protect and work in the commercial interest of the company.Requirements:Trade Qualified Boilermaker.Highly experienced in the manufacturing of metal products.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.High attention to detail.How To Apply:If this role sounds like you, APPLY NOW!
