The role also involves customer engagement, and provision of advice and guidance on related supply chain, test and evaluation, and certification of components, sub-systems and assemblies.In return, we offer outstanding opportunities to grow, with Raytheon Australia's exclusive professional development programs and a raft of employee benefits tailored to suit every stage of your career and lifestyle.Right now, the company is experiencing exciting growth in advanced manufacturing and we are looking for an experienced Industrial Engineer/Manufacturing Engineer with expertise in the establishment of advanced manufacturing and assembly to join our team.The Job:Lead a technical team in:Developing a detailed proposal and Establishing the manufacturing capability via a Systems Engineering process/mindsetManaging continuous operations: Operationally running and improving the production capability indefinitelyWork with the global internal stakeholder to:Build and maintain collaborative partnershipsEstablish and maintain the knowledge and data transfer arrangements to establish the capabilityLead the provision of engineering support for the establishment of a local supply chain to support production effortsWork in support of the Senior Program Manager to manage functional relationships to ensure successful Phase-in of production capabilityLead major reviews throughout the product lifecycle as well as participating in peer reviewsThe Person:Degree in Engineering Experience in establishing manufacturing capabilitiesExperience in electro-optical systems and/or Guided WeaponsExperience in establishing and delivering complex programs, particularly involving manufacturing / production operationsStrong technical strategy development and program planning skillsExperience in tender responses and technical planning within a capture environmentKnowledge of project management coupled with experience in leading technical teams in Phase-in/Establishment/Transition program phasesStrong relationship management skills highlighted by experience in teaming / subcontractor / prime relationshipsDemonstrated ability to collaborate with stakeholders at client, peer, supplier and senior leadership levels.Successful candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Defence security clearance.
