I'm working with a rapidly growing organization in the Aerospace industry.
They are looking for a Head of Flight Operations.
This pivotal role involves setting up and leading a test flight operations team, ensuring regulatory compliance, and developing advanced UAS (Unmanned Aerial Systems) testing and delivery programs.
The ideal candidate will have a good background in UAS or UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) platforms, with experience in military or aviation sectors being highly desirable.
The role is open to candidates with 3-8 years of relevant experience in the required areas.

Job Title: Head of Flight Operations Location: Darwin For interstate candidates, one thing to note is that this role requires full relocation to Darwin.
Key Responsibilities: Establish and lead a test flight operations team.
Collaborate closely with CASA (Civil Aviation Safety Authority) to ensure regulatory compliance.
Develop and execute a comprehensive flight testing program.
Grow expertise in the testing and delivery of advanced UAS.
Manage and expand a team of operators and technicians.
Create and implement standard operating safety systems and protocols.
Oversee licensing and certification processes.
Travel to customer sites for delivery and integration of UAS platforms.
Qualifications: Experience with UAS or UAV platforms.
Strong background in military or aviation sectors is highly desirable.
Proven track record in setting up and managing flight operations.
In-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance and safety standards.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Ability to travel as required for customer deliveries and integrations.
