ROLE PURPOSE - The Accountant is responsible for the timely and accurate production of allocated Profit and Loss Statements and accurate maintenance of allocated Balance Sheets in accordance with the appropriate accounting standards and company policies and procedures.
Key relationships: Finance Manager, Commercial Finance Manager, Commercial Finance Team including Commercial Business Partners & Finance Partner
Skills & Experience: CA /CPA Qualified Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Accounting or Related Studies Experience in financial management accounting practices Experience in use of spreadsheets and financial modelling with a view to improving processes and providing insightful data. Experience in business partnering and working as part of a commercial team. Articulate with excellent interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills. Key Tasks: Client Claims Preparation Client Liaison Support EOM Process & Reporting - Month End Standard Journals, Prepayments, Accruals, Reallocation Journals, Review Opex to Capex etc Reconciliations Maintain Asset Register - Asset Disposal & Acquisitions Assisting Commercial Business Partners where required Working with Finance Manager on Process Improvement Projects Ad hoc work as required by Finance Manager Work From Home Flexibility: Team works from home Wednesdays & Fridays
