Newcastle Anglican is seeking a skilled and adaptable Senior Management Accountant to join the team. In this role, you will work closely with the Finance Manager to provide sound business systems and accounting processes as well as lead a small team of Finance professionals. Your expertise will play a key part in ensuring the organisation's financial operations are streamlined, while driving accurate reporting and insightful analysis of financial results, budgets, and forecasts.

Role & Responsibilities: Manage and develop financial management reports and tools for business owners and cost centre managers Provide leadership to a small team of finance professionals Ensure timely and efficient reporting and analysis to meet all requirements Coordinate, develop and review business plans Collaborate with Operational Managers to coordinate and analyse cost centre budgets and forecasts, ensuring ongoing alignment with KPI's Support the preparation of consolidated annual operating and capital expenditure budgets for submission to the Corporate Executive Group Undertake cost benefit analysis for various projects as determined in the annual organisational wide business plan. Develop financial models, conduct cost-benefit analysis, and deliver meaningful financial insights and reporting to senior leadership. Support the Finance Manager to develop and execute financial policies and procedures in relation to Finance Management About you: Tertiary qualification in Accounting CA or CPA qualified Five years professional experience in management accounting, analysis of results and reporting to tight deadlines Experience in the development and monitoring of budgets Demonstrated ability to implement change and continuous improvement. Proven ability to project plan.
