Our client, a leading company in its industry, is seeking an entry level Business Development Representative to join their team in the Western suburbs of Melbourne.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 -3 years of experience in sales/business development within a B2B environment and a reasonable track record of driving sales growth.
Fluency in both Mandarin and English is required for this role.
Key Responsibilities: Continuously update and deepen your understanding of the company's products, competitors, and market dynamics.
Gather and compile lists of potential business clients using directories and other resources.
Engage with clients and visit retail locations to uncover and develop sales opportunities.
Build and sustain robust business, social, and civic connections to enhance profitability.
Oversee payment collections and manage accounts receivable for assigned customers.
Resolve customer issues through team collaboration and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure ongoing satisfaction and loyalty.
Attain sales objectives by assessing client needs and adhering to a defined sales process, which includes conducting product demonstrations and presentations.
Coordinate with other sales team members to ensure sales targets are met and company standards are maintained.
Skills and Abilities: At least 2 years of experience in business development or a comparable B2B sales position.
Excellent skills in communication, interpersonal relations, problem-solving, presentation, and organization.
Required fluency in both Mandarin and English.
Demonstrated ability to combine persuasive techniques with professionalism.
Strong capabilities in time management and organization.
Proven track record of working effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Strong customer relationship management, time management, and organizational skills.
