Join the Queensland Public Trustee (QPT) as the Managing Lawyer within the Office of the Official Solicitor, Customer Legal Service unit and oversee a skilled legal team.
This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on expertise in succession law, property law, equity and trusts, and elder and disability law.
You'll represent the QPT in courts and tribunals, mentor legal professionals, and contribute to creating an inclusive, respectful workplace.As a Managing Lawyer, you'll oversee legal matters in areas such as succession law, property law, equity and trusts, and elder and disability law.
You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating professionalism, legal expertise, and a commitment to exceptional service.
This role entails representing the QPT in courts and tribunals across Queensland, mentoring and managing a team of legal professionals and providing legal advice ensuring compliance with legislative requirements, public sector standards and Office policies.This is a temporary full-time role in Brisbane CBD from 27 January 2025 to 2 May 2025.
