As Managing Editor you'll be responsible for creating, commissioning and curating marketing, education, editorial and thought leadership content that's engaging and impactful for our customers. You will also manage the editorial content calendar for Australian Retirement Trust (ART) and work closely with the many areas of the business that commission or create multi-channel content. Ultimately this role conceptualises, plans and develops content that is distinctive and the best representation of ART's identity.
Day to day, you'll:
Work with colleagues to align and optimize content across multiple channels and use multimedia when appropriate. Plan, resource, and manage creation and delivery of ART's suite of customer digital newsletters. Create and commission multiple styles of editorial content and be responsible for ensuring the accurate review and approval process is followed. Contribute to tactical strategic planning for and management of content calendars. Report on the effectiveness and return on investment of editorial content and associated content marketing, linking our insights and analytics to business outcomes. This role is available as a permanent/ full-time opportunity. About you It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. You'll also have solid experience in the superannuation or financial services industry. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too:
Demonstrated experience in a managing editor environment. Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders and managing competing priorities. Experience in writing for all media, with proven success in creating engaging content across multiple channels. A skill for turning technical and sometimes quite complex content into meaningful and simple messages. Excellent grasp of the written language, including grammar, with strong attention to detail.
