An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced investigations professional who will be part of a managerial team leading an internal group of investigators to deliver workplace investigations that are person-centered and trauma-informed.
This leader will be skilled in facilitating collaborative links with internal and external partners and oversight agencies to ensure that the QCS meets the standard of ethical behaviours and integrity that is expected across the Queensland public sector.

As a Manager Workplace Investigations, you will provide strong, collaborative leadership and direction to your team, continuously driving service delivery improvements.
You will operate as a key influencer who is both capable and comfortable in engaging and maintaining proactive relationships with stakeholders both internal and external to QCS.
To be successful in this role you will have: Proven experience and results in managing an investigative function within large and complex organisations, particularly in the public sector.Demonstrated ability in establishing and implementing investigative policies, systems, frameworks, and processes.Understanding of key issues, trends, and innovative approaches relating to the conduct of investigations.Knowledge and understanding of the legislation, regulations, and standards relevant to corrective services.Leadership skills in creating and maintaining effective teams, driving performance, and achieving effective service delivery.Advanced technical and analytical skills to collate and analyse large data sets in order to provide recommendations and reports to support investigative processes.High-level interpersonal skills to build and maintain strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and influence others in the achievement of outcomes.Qualifications, Professional Registration, Conditions and Other Requirements: • Highly desirable: a tertiary qualification in a relevant field, including nationally recognised qualifications in Government (investigations, workplace inspections, and/or fraud control).
