Government - State (Government & Defence)The roleReporting to the Director, First Nations Health Workforce, your role will be responsible for providing expert level advice and direction to Queensland Health divisions, Hospital and Health Services, and other stakeholders in line with Queensland Health priorities and policies.The successful person will:Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Schedule 2, Nurses and Midwives (Queensland Health Award) (2015) – Generic Level Statements (GLS) Nurse Grade 10 and the Queensland Health commitments and values.Demonstrate advanced professional knowledge of the requirements for contemporary professional practice, health care settings and services including healthcare legislation, policy and regulatory frameworks.Have proven capacity to participate in effective engagement and change management processes through clinical networks, professional organisations, health consumer groups and other stakeholders, to review and improve healthcare legislation policy and regulation.Demonstrate ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with peers, multi-disciplinary teams and others to create a positive practice environment.Demonstrate ability to contribute to the development of high-level reports, briefs and strategic responses as required.About usThe Department of Health is responsible for the overall management of the public health system in Queensland.
