Develop and deliver a range of strategic projects and initiatives to support the VET business model at Charles Darwin University (CDU)
About the Position
As the
Manager VET Strategic Programs,
you will provide strategic and operational support to the TAFE Executive Office to drive forward a range of major initiatives within CDU TAFE. You will be instrumental in supporting strategy development and project management and leading the scoping and implementation of a variety of complex projects designed to advance the VET business model within CDU.
About You
To be successful, you will require:
Degree-level qualification related to project management and/or extensive relevant experience in a tertiary education setting (ideally from within a VET ecosystem)
Outstanding leadership and management skills and a demonstrated ability to lead through operational expertise and influence
Demonstrated ability to design and manage strategic projects, undertake complex research and analysis, develop, advise, and support the implementation of recommendations.
Demonstrate high degree of initiative taking, with sound problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously in a busy environment.
Demonstrated high-level interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills including the ability to liaise on complex issues with senior management, peers, and internal and external stakeholders.
Demonstrated experience and knowledge of business improvement practices, principles, methodologies, and tools.
Remuneration
Appointment to this role will be at Professional Level 10. The base salary will be in the range of $128,903 to $143,061 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $150,816 to $167,381 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
