Department of Logistics and InfrastructurePublic Transport & Taxi Services (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)Government - State (Government & Defence)Senior Professional Officer 1 Remuneration Package $150,506 - $167,941Program DevelopmentPalmerstonFixed vacancy for 6 monthsThe purpose of this role is to manage the condition and functionality of transport assets through the delivery of the Transport Asset Program (TAP) incorporating capital, minor new works and repairs and maintenance programs to enable the delivery of a safe, quality, environmentally responsible transport system.Key duties and responsibilities include:Manage the delivery of the Transport Asset Program (TAP) for infrastructure including aerodromes, barge landings, boat ramps, public transport infrastructure, jetties, pontoons, weighbridges, MVR buildings and Road Safety Centres.Develop the annual TAP using strategic asset management planning, high level stakeholder engagement and asset condition data.Manage and report on the progress of the TAP to meet project and program objectives.Facilitate Australian Government and other funding application processes.Develop and maintain effective collaborative partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders at all levels.Develop and maintain effective governance and reporting systems.The successful candidate will have proven in-depth knowledge of and experience in civil asset management, design and/or construction and engineering and the relevant Australian Standards, legislation and regulations.
In addition, proven high level skills and experience in project and program management methodologies, practices and tools across the full project life-cycle is essential.Well-developed communication, interpersonal and influencing skills are also essential to success in this role.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate an ability to achieve program and organisational outcomes.
A recognised tertiary qualification within the Civil or Structural Engineering field or related discipline is a requirement of the position.#J-18808-Ljbffr
