Manager Theatre Inventory and ProsthesisPerth, WA, AUGroup ServicesYour role at St John of God Health CareYou will be responsible for the coordination and management of the Theatre Inventory & Prosthesis Operations. This position provides leadership and technical expertise to ensure adherence to best practice Standard Operating Procedures and relevant system protocols to deliver optimal service across SJGHC.The PositionReview, develop and improve policies and procedures for theatre inventory and prosthesis operations.Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures and relevant system protocols.Proactively support the Manager, Sourcing and Supply Operations, develop category plans through dynamic analysis of cost structures, supplier research, market indicators and expenditure opportunities.Develop tools and methodologies to classify expenditure into categories that support the development of prosthesis category.Ensure that the prosthesis financial reconciliation between central finance and each site is accurate and timely maximizing recovery of prosthesis revenue from Health Funds.Assist with negotiations on explants, ensuring this is zero cost to the business.Represent P&SC with external stakeholders such as suppliers, clients, regulatory bodies and auditors.Negotiate with suppliers and when necessary, health funds.Build and manage local relationships with hospital representatives.Manage Theatre Inventory Management System (TIMS) support officers, providing system support to theatre caregivers.You will have previous experience in prosthesis management in a medium to large multi-site organisation, extensive experience within the theatre environment and knowledge of the prosthesis management process. Knowledge of private and public healthcare sector funding requirements will be essential to this position.You will have a proven track record in providing high level analytical support to a team with a high level of negotiating and influencing skills, with the ability to finalize negotiations with tight deadlines.To succeed, you will possess the ability to apply high ethical standards and consistently represent the organisation in a professional manner. Proficiency in relevant spreadsheet (Excel), database, and word processing applications is essential. Success also requires the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion even under tight deadlines.Additionally, flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and meet unexpected stakeholder or organisational requirements is crucial.
