Internal Audit is the Third line of defence in ensuring the effectiveness of the organisation's controls in detecting, preventing and correcting risk.
The purpose of this role is to deliver the Technology Audits, assist in the identification of Technology Risks and to test key Technology controls.Key OpportunitiesOpportunity to showcase your people leader capabilities.Define and develop appropriate Technology audit capability within NAB's Internal Audit team.Be recognised as a leader, empowered to deliver, and succeed.In this Manager role, you willManage a team of three Direct Reports and provide timely feedback and coaching to colleagues to promote a performance and development culture.Manage a small portfolio of concurrent audits (3-5) within agreed resource and time budgets.Apply knowledge and skills in auditing various banking applications and systems.
Demonstrate subject matter expertise in evaluating API, microservices, CI/CD practices and modern applications deployed in the cloud environment.Coordinate verification of audit raised issues within internal SLA targets once the business indicates issues are closed, supported by quality workpapers.Provide strategic guidance to audit team leads on scope and approach.What you will bringA deep understanding of Technology risks and controls.Advanced leadership, mentoring and coaching skills.A deep understanding of modern technology stack such as CI/CD tools, Cloud, microservices and APIs.Substantial experience with stakeholder engagement and management.Sound experience within Technology audit.Tertiary qualified, preferably with a Degree in Accounting, Business or Finance and hold qualifications in one or more of the following: AWS Certified Security Specialty, Microsoft Security Engineer Associate, CISA/CISM, CISSP, CCSP, CDE, OSCP and GCIH.A diverse and inclusive workplace works better for everyoneWe know that our people make us who we are.
