As Manager Technical Services, you will lead and support atalented team of professionals to deliver subdivision anddevelopment functions, facilities management and development ofrelated engineering projects, as well as ensuring the survey,design, construction, and maintenance of civil infrastructure meetthe requirements of the City of Mandurah.

You are friendly, supportive and actively listen to theneeds of others.You enjoy working with people, can build strongrelationships and are open to the opinions of others.You set challenging but realistic goals, reflect and learnfrom experiences and problem solve to get the job done.You provide professional engineering expertise, guidanceand team leadership in the operation of the EngineeringDevelopment, Facilities Management and Survey Servicesteams.You are able to prepare and manage infrastructureengineering programs and projects to achieve objectives withintime, cost and quality requirements.You can effectively monitor, interpret and analyse assetmanagement data captured and stored within Council'sinformation system to ensure accurate and timely reporting inaccordance with audit requirements.You can provide leadership, advice and support to assist inthe planning and design of road safety measures, trafficmanagement and transport related issues.What can you bring to the team? Degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant discipline.Experience in a senior management role.Highly developed interpersonal, oral and writtencommunication skills, including experience with peoplemanagement.Local Government experience (desirable)The finer details This permanent full-time position attracts a negotiated salaryof up to $180,000 (inclusive of car allowance) plus superannuation,dependent on qualifications and experience.
