About the role Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, this newly created role will see you playing a critical role in Roy Hill's journey to becoming an employer of choice in Western Australia and recognised as a high-performance organisation. You will be the driving force behind our talent strategy, designing and implementing innovative approaches to attract and retain the brightest minds in the industry. You will be at the forefront of identifying and nurturing the talent that will drive our success, ensuring we remain competitive and innovative in our state and beyond.
In addition to overseeing traditional recruitment efforts, you will also be responsible for developing and implementing talent and succession initiatives, ensuring a robust pipeline of talent for critical roles. Your previous history in holistic talent management of both internal and external talent will be at the forefront of this exciting role.

• Analyse talent market trends and adapt strategies to ensure Roy Hill remains ahead of the curve.
Skills and Experience To excel in this position, you'll need to be an experienced talent leader, with the skills to coach, train, and influence team members effectively. In addition, you will have:
• Substantial experience in a leadership role with a wealth of experience in talent acquisition, people management and development across the mining industry. 
• Experience in designing and implementing innovative and robust talent management programmes, preferably in a similar in-house Talent role.
• Proven track record in the mining, engineering, construction or oil and gas sector
• Previous demonstrable experience in using Success Factors Recruitment.
• An authentic leadership style with the ability to engage across all levels within the business.
